Ecovery, a major player in nonferrous metal recycling, has kicked off the commissioning of its brand-new aluminum recycling furnace at its Mobile, Alabama facility. The state-of-the-art rotary furnace, boasting a 60,000-pound capacity, sits alongside its 2015-built furnace and a high-tech aluminum x-ray sorting line completed earlier this year. CEO Brock Norris revealed that the company plans to add a third furnace by 2026 or 2027, further expanding operations at the Alabama plant.
