Cobra Golf Expands 3D Printing Innovation with COBRA TOUR Irons

Cobra Golf

Cobra Golf is set to launch its latest 3D-printed golf irons, the COBRA TOUR irons, on March 21, 2025. Following the success of its LIMIT3D irons, Cobra continues to leverage advanced 3D printing technology to enhance performance and design in its golf clubs.

Advanced Manufacturing with DMLS Technology

The COBRA TOUR irons will utilize Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), a 3D printing process that allows for precise and innovative designs. Inspired by the LIMIT3D series, these irons incorporate internal lattice structures to optimize weight distribution and enhance the moment of inertia, ensuring forgiveness and a professional-grade feel.
Unlike the limited-edition LIMIT3D irons, of which only 500 units were produced, the COBRA TOUR irons will be part of Cobra Golf’s regular retail lineup. The standard 4-PW set is priced at $2,450 USD, with additional custom options for a 3-iron and gap wedge.

Pioneering 3D Printing in Golf

Cobra Golf’s Vice President of Innovation & AI, Mike Yagley, emphasized the significance of the company’s journey in 3D printing:
“The 3D-printed LIMIT3D irons were the first commercially available 3D-printed clubs, and they sold out so quickly we had to make more. The new COBRA 3D printed TOUR irons offer the same premium construction, performance, and feel but will now be available as a standard COBRA model.”
Cobra’s commitment to 3D printing began five years ago, partnering with HP and Parmatech to utilize Metal Jet technology for its KING Supersport-35 putter. This collaboration expanded to DMLS technology for steel irons, leading to the successful launch of the LIMIT3D irons in May 2024.

A Game-Changer in Golf Technology

With the COBRA TOUR irons, Cobra Golf continues to redefine the golf industry by combining cutting-edge additive manufacturing with premium design and performance. Golf enthusiasts can look forward to a professional-grade product that marries innovation with accessibility.
