Leeco Steel Promotes Ben Kincheloe to Director of Business Excellence

Leeco Steel has announced the promotion of Ben Kincheloe to director of business excellence, where he will oversee continuous improvement (CI) efforts, in addition to managing safety and quality processes.

Company President and CEO Denton Nordhues praised Kincheloe’s leadership, stating:

“Ben has proven that he is an incredibly strong and knowledgeable leader, having grown and developed Leeco’s safety and quality teams and processes. As he steps into his new role, he will further enhance the company by taking on additional CI responsibilities, ultimately bringing us closer to exceeding our lean manufacturing and plate processing goals.”

Kincheloe initially joined Leeco Steel as director of safety at the Portage, Indiana, facility in December 2023. By May 2024, he had expanded his role to include quality process management as director of safety and quality. His latest promotion reflects Leeco’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement in its steel plate processing and manufacturing operations.
