Southern Coil Solutions (SCS), a leader in advanced automation for metals storage, has launched its second facility, SCS-02, in the Kentucky Transpark in Bowling Green. This $60 million investment underscores the company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.


Cutting-Edge Technology and Rail Connectivity

The new 185,000-square-foot facility will integrate AI-powered automated storage systems, reducing loading times from 45 minutes to just seven minutes. SCS-02’s advanced technology ensures flawless accuracy, preventing damage, loss, and contamination. Designed for scalability, the facility adapts to evolving client needs while leveraging CSX-approved rail access to enhance efficiency and reduce transportation costs.

In addition to rail transportation services, SCS-02 will be supported by Southern Logistics Services, offering over-the-road trucking solutions. This expansion solidifies Southern Coil Solutions as a comprehensive one-stop logistics provider.
