Olympic Steel Relocates Action Stainless to Larger Houston Site

Olympic Steel Inc. has announced the relocation of its Action Stainless operation to a new facility in Houston. The expansion aims to enhance fabrication capabilities and support the company’s growth strategy. The new location, managed by Jeff Lyons, general manager, is situated at 10111 Houston Oaks Drive.

The 105,000-square-foot facility replaces the previous site at 7010 Zoltowski St., increasing the Houston operation’s footprint by 73,000 square feet. This added warehouse space will enable Action Stainless to expand its value-added services and fabrication capacity.

Strategic Growth and Enhanced Capabilities

"The relocation of our Houston operation represents the next step in our strategic growth plan for Action Stainless and our entire specialty metals business segment," said Andy Markowitz, president of Specialty Metals. "Action Stainless already has a great reputation as a single source for multiple items on a bill of material. As part of our continued growth, we've expanded further downstream to better support our customers' complex value-added and precision fabrication needs."

Action Stainless is a full-line distributor of stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloy products, offering plate, sheet, angles, rounds, flat bar, tubing, and pipe in a variety of sizes. The company also provides comprehensive fabrication services, including robotic welding, cutting, forming, shaping, centerless grinding, machining, and finishing.
