Kametstal, part of the Metinvest Group, has successfully hired 109 young specialists through its First Job program, providing vital early career opportunities. According to a company press release, the initiative targets graduates who finished their studies no earlier than 2022 and have no previous official work experience.

Participants are placed across various departments, including the BOF and rolling mills, and the railway transport operations department. They gain not only their first professional experience but also exposure to modern technologies and future career prospects within the company.

Financial Incentives Support Young Professionals' Growth

To encourage retention and performance, Kametstal offers additional financial support. Program participants can earn up to UAH 50,000 in bonus payments if they comply with company discipline and occupational safety rules.

The bonus is structured in stages:
  • UAH 10,000 after three months,
  • UAH 10,000 after six months,
  • UAH 15,000 after nine months,
  • UAH 15,000 at the end of one year.
Currently, 80 young professionals are actively receiving these performance-based bonuses.
