New Data Confirms Ultramafic Feeder System and Expands Potential for High-Grade Nickel-PGE Zones
Zeb Nickel Corp. [TSXV: ZBNI; OTCQB: ZBNIF] has completed a high-resolution airborne geophysical survey over its flagship Zeb Nickel Project in Limpopo, South Africa. The survey—conducted by Xcalibur Airborne Geophysics (Pty) Ltd—delivered critical gravity and magnetic data that reinforce the company’s geological model while preserving shareholder value, as it was conducted at no cost to Zeb Nickel.
The new dataset confirms the presence of a long-lived ultramafic magmatic plumbing system that connects the Uitloop I and II bodies. This structure is interpreted to host vertically stacked sulfide mineralization zones, a system analogous to Ivanhoe Mines’ Platreef Project and African Rainbow Minerals' Nkomati Nickel Mine within the Bushveld Complex.
Key Structures and Drill Targets Identified
The survey also outlined several significant NE-SW fault zones, likely part of a broader regional fault network that acted as magma conduits and traps for Ni-Cu-PGE sulfide mineralization. These features strongly support Zeb Nickel’s thesis of disseminated, semi-massive, and potentially massive sulfide mineralization.
Zeb Nickel will submit the airborne data to a leading African geophysical consulting firm for advanced 3D interpretation. The work will include:
- 3D inversion and voxel modeling
- Re-processing of gravity and magnetic data
- Integrated structural modeling to identify high-priority drill targets in Zone 2 and Zone 3
Resource Delineation and Next-Stage Drilling
The goal is to refine drill targeting for upcoming campaigns that will focus on:
- Defining higher-grade nickel-PGE mineralization in Zone 2
- Identifying massive sulfide zones in Zone 3, showing parallels to the Uitkomst deposit
Richard Montjoie, VP of Exploration, emphasized that the survey has confirmed the project’s core geological model and significantly increased the project’s upside. The company plans to build on this with drilling aimed at delivering a maiden NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate.
The Zeb Nickel Project is a developing Class 1 nickel sulfide asset located in the heart of South Africa’s Bushveld Complex—one of the world’s richest geological terrains for platinum group and base metal deposits.
