Strategic Consolidation Expands Forged Components Business

Westbrook Energy Group has rebranded as OneWest, consolidating its forging operations to enhance its market position. This strategic move integrates key acquisitions, including Forge USA, Viking Iron Works, and Western of Texas, under OneWest Manufacturing Partners. However, Westbrook Manufacturing, Federal Flange, and Forged Components will continue operating as separate brands.

Streamlining Operations Under OneWest Manufacturing Partners

OneWest aims to unify operations while maintaining brand independence where necessary. Viking Iron Works in Poughkeepsie, New York, manufactures open die forgings for aerospace and industrial markets, handling materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, and titanium. Its operations include machining, heat treating, and testing, with a forging capacity of up to 2,600 pounds.

Forge USA, based in Houston, Texas, produces open die forgings between 1,000 and 55,000 pounds for industrial applications. The company specializes in carbon, alloy, and stainless steel forging, supporting high-demand industries.

Western of Texas, located in Kountze, Texas, focuses on flange production for oil and gas, petrochemical, and mining industries. The company forges rings, disks, and blocks up to 55,000 pounds, using stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and low-temperature alloys.

Commitment to Continuity and Market Expansion

Despite the restructuring, OneWest assures customers that there will be no disruption to operations or service commitments. This rebrand is designed to improve efficiency while reinforcing its footprint in key markets.
